What is the difference between orthovisc and synvisc (hylan g-f 20)?

Not much: Not a lot. Studies have suggested they are equally effective. Synvisc (hylan g-f 20) is available as a single shot while orthovisc requires 3 weekly injections. Synvisc (hylan g-f 20) is more viscous.
