Fibroids: I am not sure why you were suggested to have ultrasound repeated. I would assume that there may have been either incomplete visualization or the radiologist wanted to make sure it is not something else. Talk to the ordering doc and ask him that question. He may contact the radiologist and ask him directly.

Fibroid: I have no idea. The best thing to do is to speak to the physician recommending the repeat study. Ask that person why. Fibroids are common, but in some people, fibroids can be problematic. An intramural fibroid is within the wall of the uterus. Stay safe.
