"Fibroid tumors" are a common finding and are not in the majority of cases become malignant. The Ca125 test is a screening test for certain malignancies, and are used to stimulate investigation if the test results increase over time. If the "TVUS" did not show suspicious changes in ovarian anatomy, the risks of malignancy remain low.
