6 cm fibroid: In order to answer this for you, an exam and consult with gyn surgeon is needed. On average a 6 cm uterine fibroid can be surgically removed or coiled via artery supply to allow for pregnancy. If fertility is no longer desired then observation is fine, as long as you are not symptomatic. Take a friend/family with you to consult to help in asking questions. Good luck and be well.

Do you have symptoms: If you don't have symptoms then it is hard to make asymptomatic better. If you have pain, bloating, bleeding, any of the things fibroids can cause then you could potentially be treated with hormomes, surgery or uterine fibroid embolization. Talk with your gynecologist. Uterine fibroid embolization (ufe) is done by interventional radiologists.
