Do i have to have a no carb diet in order to lose weight because my body gets energy from fat?

Absolutely, Always: Fat storage is driven by carbs, not fat in food. Ability to burn sugar for energy is limited. Fate sugar inside cells: 1. Krebs cycle-limited, 2. Store as glycogen-limited, 3. Bind to proteins-very limited & not healthy, 4. Convert to triglyceride fats & export for storage. Continued carb intake drives cells to quit taking in sugars (despite insulin+amylin), called Insulin resistance >> diabetes!
