Specializes in Psychiatry

Call for appointment: You can get referrals from your family physician, or check websites & call for appointments. This may suit in non-emergent situations because there may be a waiting list for outpatient care. If it's an emergency, go to an er and an on-call psychiatrist will see you. Another mental health professional may see you first, in consultation with the psychiatrist. Admission may be arranged if needed.

Finding a doctor : In general there are several sources to help you find a psychiatrist ask your primary care doc. Check websites of nearby medical centers, clinics and large group practices . Check your insurance company panels. Many of these rescources often allow you to narrow your search for language; area of expertise, location, etc. Good luck.
