Could be: Tmj is a term that refers to a number of conditions related to the jaw joint. Some of them are painful and others are not. Without more information it is hard to tell what you have. You might consider seeing a dentist to see what he or she thinks you have.

Not to worry: If you have no pain, you have no syndrome. Make sure you dont grind your teeth, and that you have a healthy bite.

It could be: It could still be TMJ syndrome. Tmj syndrome refers to pain and/or discomfort and/or limited mouth opening; as a result of inflamed jaw-muscle/ jaw-joint. This is mostly seen in people that clench or grind their teeth when sleeping, and they or their family members don't know it. To be sure, get evaluated by a dentist.
