Dr. Dwight Romriell answered

Specializes in Pain Management

More advanced TM joints begin to click less and become quiet as the joint degenerates and required less space the joint fossa. Headaches, facial pain, eye pain, ear symptoms, restricted jaw motion, uncomfortable or painful eating, are common symptoms of an injured or degenerating TMJ. TMJ treatment, achieve and hold normal jaw position with normal jaw motion and your symptoms will vanish.

It is possible. I would schedule an appointment with Oral Surgeon. Let him/her evaluate, as well as take appropriate X-rays to make a more definitive diagnosis.
