Loss of tooth: Ignoring an infected 3rd molar("wisdom tooth") could result in losing the adjacent molar, possible more severe infection extending into the throat that could be life-indangering.

Can be very: Usually not serious - perhaps pain, swelling, limited oral opening. In rare cases can be life threatening. Best not to take chances. See oral surgeon for exam/recommendations.

Can be serious : Depending how far the abscess has grown and its location it can dangerous, try to see your oral surgeon asap , it might need to be drained and plans need be made to remove the infected tooth
