It depends: Hard question to answer, it depends on where the echo is done, is the lab certified, does the echo tech have good skills and is the physician board certified in echo. Rv : In general, if the echo quality is good, you can gain information about the rv. I will say that some cardiologists do miss rv abnormalities particularly of they are subtle or the pictures at are bad. However if you are really concerned you can get a cardiac MRI which can see both chambers in more detail and gives great rv information.
