A member asked:

The right side of my back is in pain, it's not sharp but it's dull. i was sitting down for a while and it only aches on deep inhale, is it strain?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Back pain: It can be a strain especially if your history suggests of it. Prolonged sitting normally doesn't cause strains. I would put local heat (heating pad on low) or use a topical rub such as bengay or icyhot. Gentle massage may help as well. Over-the-counter Acetaminophen or ibuprofen, unless contraindicated, may be tried with success.

Upper back -Shoulder blade pain, pinching and strain. Sore sides of the neck. Bending the neck down increases the pinching and pain in shoulder blades. So times this leads to headache on the back of the head.
