Hospital said i have fetal demise cuz no heartbeat my obgyn saw healthy 6 week 2 days fetus with heartbeat why would hospital scare me like that?

When did this happen: I assume the hospital us was performed before the ob/gyn. Did the hospital perform a transvaginal us, or just transabdominal? If the hospital us was a couple of weeks earlier, or only transabdominal us - that could explain the different findings. Also, how accurate was the estimated length of pregnancy - if you thought you were further along, that could confuse the situation.
