Vanishing twin: You may have a twin pregnancy and is too early to see both heart beats, or you could have what its called a vanishing twin. The second sac is a non viable pregnancy and most likely absorbed. Your doctor will re evaluate with serial ultrasound to ascertain health of the pregnancy.
