Yes: Yes you can, however it would be important for you to discuss the appropriate antibiotic with your physician. Not all conditions that cause a murmur require antibiotics.

Antibiotics: You should discuss your antibiotic situation with your own doctor. Penicillin allergy doesn't cross with gentamicin. Antibiotics have specific antimicrobial spectra and the 'right' antibiotic for the right bacteria needs to be chosen for the situation.
