Probably no shift: If people think you look thinner but you are not losing weight, it is possible that you now have less body fat and more muscle-either from a natural maturing process or from a more vigorous exercise program. Enjoy it while it lasts, as our metabolism slows as we age and the opposite process usually occurs unless we actively exercise and eat healthy diets.
