Diet and exercise : Without knowing how tall you are, it is hard to know how overweight you are. See a nutritionist and get an exercises coach. That may cost less than liposuction and will be helpful in keeping the weight off.

A good possibility: It will be necessary to have a consultation to determine the best procedure for you. We don't know your height, but certainly at age 22 if you exercise, liposuction is a very good procedure to improve abdominal wall contour. It is best to maintain your weight after lipo as weight gain lead to redistribution to other areas.

May be : See a board certified plastic surgeon let him/her examine you and tell if liposuction will help you. If liposuction is done for the stomach and if you gain weight after the liposuction, you will first gain in other parts of the body before gaining in the stomach.

It may be: Everyone should diet/exercise. If your body stores fat at the abdomen predominantly that will be the last area to go. That is where liposuction, tummy tuck, and some new non-invasive procedures can come in handy. Ask your primary care doctor for diet and exercise advice. Consider a personal trainer or exercise classes for group support. If all that fails, see a plastic surgeon. Good luck!
