A 17-year-old male asked:
for an ingrown toenail procedure is there a gas to request if you are bad with the shots to help numb yourself for when they have to give the shot?

Typically not: Most ingrown procedures are performed in an office setting and gas is not typically available. An oral sedative can be given prior to your office procedure or a topical anesthetic can be applied to the area to be anesthetized prior to the injection. If you opt to have your procedure performed as part of a procedure in a surgery center setting, the initial anesthesia administered may be gas.

Possibly....: Some podiatrists may have nitrous oxide gas for use in their office. It's not real common, so ask in advance.
