Usually: If your kidneys work, and if you are not getting diarrhea (most people don't at that dose), then it should be a safe level to supplement, with many 1-a-day magnesium supplements being in that range. If twitching persists or is recurrent, should ask your dr about this, as might want to check blood work and/or look for cause(s).
