Maybe: Magnesium is necessary for normal muscle performance. Given in higher doses it can restore normal function and impede cramps. Whether or not it will work for you rather depends on what is causing the cramps. Usually we recommend keeping well hydrated, making sure you get adequate potassium and magnesium and not overworking the muscle.
