Starvation Diets: Starving yourself may lead to temporary weight loss but it will not be sustained for two reasons. Your body will do everything in it's power to hold onto fat to protect from death starvation. Your metabolism will go to the lowest possible situation it can. Then when you begin eating all of those calories are excess because your metabolism is off and you will gain weight rapidly.
