I have a double ureter on one of my kidneys. will this cause me to have problems when conceiving?

Kidney Duplication: Duplication of the ureters is not associated with any increased difficulty with conception. Other more serious congential urinary abnormalities, however, are associated with abnormalities in other organs. If your only finding is duplication then this occurs only 1% of the time. That makes you unique!

Here are some ...: Having duplicated ureters is not uncommon. The accumulated experience has taught us its impact onto a pregnant women has been minimal. I would not overly concern about its existence with conception & pregnancy. For more detail, please ask your gynecologist for individual situation timely. Best wish...
