A member asked:

Besides protein, potassium, phosphorus, and salt..what other foods could be bad for kidney disease? just trying to get an idea..

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Kidney: First you need to take a SMA 7, a blood test that will give a baseline image of your kidney function. If normal, follow a regular diet, your body will control your normal potassium excretion, unless you have other medical issues like high blood pressure, diabetes or auto immune issues.
