My friend suffers from hyperthyroidism and she is taking 60ml carbimazole and just found out she is 6 weeks pregnant, should she still take the dose?

Of course: Pregnancy doesn't make her hyperthyroidism vanish into thin air. It just makes it that much more important that the thyroid is properly controlled and as close to normal as possible throughout the entire duration of pregnancy. She will need to work closely w/her endocrinologist.
