I'm taking 20mg carbimazole for hyperthyroidism, should i be concerned with a total white cell count 3.4 (4-11) & neutrophil count 1.53 (2.0-7.7)?

Yes!: Bone marrow suppression is a know side effect of this drug. Please consult your doctor asap to ensure that you do not have low platelet count. Your blood counts may need to monitored more frequently or your treaement modified to avoid infection, bleeding and anemia.
