Can be dangerous: Clenbuterol is not approved for use in the US. It is available in some countries for treating asthma. It is illegally used for athletic performance enhancement. It can be dangerous in someone with hyperthyroidism, especially if thyroid levels are still high, as it is a stimulant. It can cause fast heart beating, high blood pressure, shakiness, anxiety, and possible heart valve problems.
