Pulmonary tb: It means lung scarring suggestive of pulmonary tuberculosis. A PPD test or quantiferon gold blood test can help confirm if there has been exposure to tb. A sputum culture and lung biopsy, bronchial lavage for culture can determine the antibiotic sensitivity. A chest ct scan can also help determine activity of the tb. Tb treatment should be initiated http://www.Cdc.Gov/tb/publications/guidelines.

Not unusual: We see this commonly on chest xrays even in a 26 year old. More commonly, we see this in immigrants as they may be exposed to TB or fungal infections and sometimes don't even have symptoms. Nonetheless, the lungs will have areas of scarring related to this exposure.
