A member asked:

Hi. my x-ray result says there are minimal findings in the right upper lung? and the impression says that : consider an inflammatory process i.e. pneumonitis or ptb. what does it mean?

The top tissues of either lung is the typical location of pulmonary tuberculosis infection and any findings suggesting an active infection in that location suggest it as a possibility. However, other tests are required to confirm that possibility and another germ may be the cause.

Minimal finding in right upper lung means that lung field is not completely involved in inflammation. This may be either at the beginning of the disease or no disease at all. Your doctor will assess clinical relevance of this x-ray findings. Wish you best of luck, hopefully you get the news of health.
