Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine): You can wean yourself off Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) with regaining full sensitivity to it eventually. You cannot stop it "cold turkey", though, to avoid withdrawal. The weaning process must be gradual and under the supervision of a physician.

Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine): There may a short term need to increase Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) after several months. A small adjustment is usually effective in bringing you to your previous positive ability. After discontinuing Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) for several weeks, response often improves. An alternative would be a change to concerta.
