Very possibly: Your brain has plasticity to restore your neurotransmitter levels back to your initial levels after some time. It is possible that they were low to start with, and have been increased by the stimulant treatment. We have no methods to measure Dopamine levels in the brain, and Dopamine is not the only neurotransmitter involved. Don't worry if you need another type of treatment now.
