No, it doesn't sound: Abnormal. I have known a number of patients that gained weight on remeron (mirtazapine).

No.: It is not abnormal. Remeron (mirtazapine) can increase appetite and now that you aren't on it your appetite has gone back to what was normal for you previous to being on it.
