Was taking remeron (mirtazapine) 45mg for 4 years gained 70 pounds somehow quit taking it and lostb45 pounds in 2 months is this normal?

Remeron: I am not sure if I would keep a patient on a medication if there was a 70 pound weight. gain. Per Drugs.Com, Remeron is associated with increased appetite (up to 17%) & weight gain (up to 12%). That is also a very rapid weight loss. I don't think this is typical.
