Uncertain: Tea is derived from the camellia sinensis tree. The leaves contain antioxidant polyphenols. The linus pauling institute reported a study that suggested that green tea can assist with glycemic control. Catechins in the tea may ^ thermogenesis & there can be loss of water weight as it is a diuretic. Preliminary studies are exciting. However, i’m not sure that research has conclusively demonstrated.
