A 27-year-old female asked:
Why would a small amount of caffeine create nerve issues? (burning, tingling sharp pains) through out body..legs arms, ear, face ect? also numbness in neck? i've noticed a few times after having a cup of green tea or some type of caffeine.

It's a stimulant: All forms of caffeine & nicotine are xanthenes , a chemical family that crosses into the brain & acts as a stimulant. How it effect an individual is both dose & genetically determined. Some have few side effects, some quite a few. If you knoe this happens & it bothers you just do decaf.
