Go to podiatrist: See the podiatrist to be properly examined. There are numerous differentials that can be causing this pain ranging from swelling, contusion, nerve irritation, tenodnitits or even a fracture. A proper evaluation and work up is needed.

nerve compression: You may have morton's neuroma or compression on the nerve. You need to see a podiatrist for further evaluation and treatment.
