Growth in bowel: You could have a polyp or other growth in your colon -- which the doctor will be able to visualize and possibly remove in the colonoscopy. Diagnosis will be much more accurate then. Please try to focus on other things for the time being, do the procedure, and let your doctor help you. Be well.
