A member asked:

I had a colonoscopy today and everything was fine exept for my twisted bowels. what do i do now?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Redundant colon: Usually when an endoscopist says that someone's colon has a lot of "twists and turns", it means that the colonoscope had to maneuver around some sharp turns in order to get where he/she needed to go. It doesn't imply that your colon was abnormal - just that it was slightly difficult to perform your colonoscopy.
