A member asked:

I am anemic and recently had a colonoscopy. they were unable to complete the procedure because they said my bowels were twisted. what does that mean?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Ask the doctor: The doctor who performed the colonoscopy would be in the best position to explain that. Some people have longer than usual colon that a may fold in an uncommon fashion. It may not be abnormal. You could get the colon examination as a contrast enema.
