Intense : Intense can mean almost anything depending on your physical fitness level. I recommend at least 20 mins of cardio zone exercise 3 times a week.

Its all good: The benefits of exercise are many. Weight control, physical health, mental health, lengthening life span. Any exercise even low intensity exercise gives these health benefits, even for only 10 or 20 min a day. High intensity exercise lets you get these benefits a bit more quickly for up to an hour a day and then more intense exercise does not add much more health advantages.
