Back pain management: Chronic back pain is unusual for someone under age 40; see your neurologist to look for correctable spine problem. To alleviate back pain, you can sleep better--8 hours every night, practice good posture, avoid hunching forward when sitting, start walking for leisure about 30 minutes/day, quit smoking (if applicable), use moist hot compress on your back 3x/day for 20 min. Each time. Good luck!
