Severe insomnia take 5 mg valium/ 10 mg baclofen b4 bed. wake 3 4 the day. if i don't take anything i don't sleep. i tried for three weeks. why?

Sleep problems: It's not clear from your info, what kind of evaluation you've had for your insomnia. There are multiple possible causes for this, and effective treatment requires accuracy. Valium and Baclofen are sedating, but aren't meant to be relied on as sleeping pills. They can also lead to tolerance and rebound insomnia on stopping. Please see your doctor, and/or a psychiatrist or sleep medicine doc.
