Does getting teeth out for braces hurt?

Any extraction : Has a degree of discomfort associated with it - it is a surgical procedure. The degree of discomfort is dependent on the degree of difficulty of the tooth being extracted and the patients pain threshold / tolerance. Hope this helps.

It shouldn't: You should be fine if proper topical anesthesia is placed first, followed by local anesthesia.
