Rationale???: Why do you want to start taking xanax, (alprazolam) do you possess panic reactions, anxiety, etc? Suggest you see your doctor, and if you need psychological support or evaluation, a referral can be made. However, use of any mood affecting medicine should always be the result of careful evaluation and consideration.
