Do i have to be completely 'clean' of medication if i want to get pregnant? read somewhere that it's best to stop benzodiazepines 3 months before becoming pregnant. i took xanax for some days, stopped 6 weeks ago. do i have to wait two months?

These suggestions are based upon potential teratogenic fetal malformations secondary to medication, which typically occur early in pregnancy. The 2-3 months statement is to assure complete removal from your system. 6 weeks is likely adequate, but talk to your obstetrician just to be complete.
