I would : Assume going to dental practices to sedate patients with IV sedation etc so that the procedures can be performed on patients that prefer to be asleep for their dental treatment. Hope this helps.

Depends: Some pracftices employ an anethesiologist to help treat patients who are fearful or difficult. A separate person usally monitors and controls the anesthesia while the work is performed in lengthy sessions. It adds a substantial cost to the procedure.
