Implants: Always with your choice of Doctors comes some level of trust. Simply ask how many of these types of implants have they placed. I don't think they will lie and if you feel comfortable, go for it. The risks can be prolonged numbness, infection, etc. Check with the dental board to make sure there are not any disciplinary actions against this Doc!

Contact AAID: Many dentists place dental implants after completing only over the weekend course. However, the dentist you choose to restore your missing teeth is just as important as the technique they use. Find a dental implants expert near you; link: http://www.aaid-implant.org/

Ask to see CV: There is never a guarantee that any procedure will turn out perfect, but if you do your homework in investigating your dentist's credentials and interview them to see if you have the right chemistry, it will go a long way to insure success. Any dentist who pays their dues can belong to the AAID or ICOI, but their CV will advise you of just how deep their experience goes.
