Hemorrhoids: Most likely cause of the described symptoms is hemorrhoids, but you need a physical exam to make sure. It is almost time for screening colonoscopy anyway. Giving the bleeding symptoms, it is best to make appointment with GI doctor and he most likely will schedule a colonoscopy for you.

See details: It may be related to a local irritation or a hemorrhoid. However, any rectal bleeding needs evaluation. See your doctor or a GI specialist.
