Get informed well: Removal of your knee area bones means having to adjust to an artificial knee joint. For this you should plan/ learn how to get rehabilitated after the surgery is over you will need strong muscles to get you thru this journey and be able to start walking normally again. You should exercise/walk to strengthen your muscles around the knee ...The quads and hamstring(back thigh) muscles. Good luck!
