Can you please describe the health consequences of being underweight?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Find out why: "ideal weight" is subscience / entertainment. "underweight" is merely a marker for things that may be very good for you (being an elite runner), okay (light-framed and lean -- mr bieber in the photo isn't complaining), or seriously bad (hiv, cancer, alcohol abuse, malabsorption, etc.) if your weight is steady & you're keeping up in sports, you're probably fine -- enjoy who you are.
