A member asked:

I just had an altrasound down it says that there's a tiny area of perigestational haemorrhage what's this mean?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not sure: Perigestational hemorrhage is something i've not heard of. There is postplacental hemorrhage or clot. That's fairly common and related to the fact of small, usually contained bleeding at the site where placenta grows into the uterine lining. In most cases, it is a benign, self limited problem.
