See Orthopedist: A biceps tendinitis usually quickly resolves with a local cortisone injection. A sling can help.

Biceps tendonitis: Any good general orthopedist, or more specifically someone specializing in hand/upper extremity or shoulder. In the early stages rest is certainly useful. Typically when it is as chronic as yours i.E years, the answer will be a cortisone shot and possibly in conjunction with therapy to reagain function and prevent recurrence.
